Adjusting Rates on Existing Boarding Appointments

This article explains how rate changes work in Kennel Connection Cloud and how they affect existing appointments.

Important Information

When adjusting boarding rates, it is important to know the difference between changing rates by Run Size and changing rates by Run.

Adjusting Rates by Run Size

If you adjust the Run Size rate, the new rate will be used for appointments moving forward.

However, changing the Run Size rate will not update existing appointments that have already been created.

Adjusting Rates by Run

If you change the rate directly on the Run and choose Adjust Run Rate, this will update existing appointments.

This option is used when you need the new rate to apply to appointments that are already scheduled.

Important Note

Rate changes need to be done one way or the other:

• Update the Run Size rate to affect new appointments moving forward.

• Update the Run rate and choose Adjust Run Rate to update existing appointments.
