Contracts

There are two ways for clients to sign contracts in Kennel Connection:

1. Blank Contracts – These contain no pre-filled information and are typically used for walk-ins or new clients.
2. Pre-Filled Contracts – These automatically include pet and client details.

Setting Up Contracts

Each module has its own contract section. To set them up:

• Go to Setup > System Options
• Select the module (Boarding, Grooming, Daycare, or Special Services)
• Choose Contracts

You can either use the standard contract provided by Kennel Connection or copy and paste your own text into the field to create a customized version.

This is how the standard contract provided by Kennel Connection appears.

Printing Blank Contracts

To print a blank contract for a specific module:

1. Open the desired module (Boarding, Grooming, Daycare, or Special Services).
2. Go to Reports > Blank Contract.
3. Select how you would like to view it, click OK, and then print.
4. Provide the printed copy to the client for completion and signature.

This is an example of how the blank contract will appear. Provide this contract to the customer for completion and signature.

Printing Contracts with Pet and Client Information

To print a contract with pre-filled client and pet details:

• Classic View:
1. Go to the Dashboard.
2. Click the three dots on the right side of the dashboard.
3. Select the appropriate (Module) Contract option.
4. Choose how to view it, click OK, then print.
• Compact/Comfortable View:
1. Go to the Dashboard.
2. Click the arrow on the right of the pet’s row.
3. Select Print Contract.
4. Choose how to view it, click OK, then print.

This is an example of how the contract will appear with the pet and client information included.

Please note: At this time, Kennel Connection does not have the feature to send contracts to customers for digital* signature and return. Contracts must be physically printed and signed. Once signed, they can be scanned and uploaded to the client card or pet card.
