How to Add Training Appointments Using Special Services or Other Services
KC Cloud does not currently have a dedicated Training Module, so you will need to choose how you’d like to track training appointments in the system.
You have two main options:
Option 1: Use Special Services
This allows you to create standalone training appointments.
Good for:
- One-on-one sessions
- Staff-managed bookings
Keep in mind:
- Special Services do not appear in the Client Portal
- Clients cannot book these online
- Recurring appointments are not supported
- If a class meets weekly for say 3 months, you will need to create each appointment individually (for example, 12 separate appointments)

Option 2: Use Other Services (Attached to Boarding or Daycare)
You can create a Training “Other Service” and attach it to a Boarding or Daycare appointment.
Good for:
- Resident training (pets already boarding)
- Allowing clients to book online
Keep in mind:
- Clients must select Boarding or Daycare to book training
- The appointment will not be labeled specifically as “Training”
- Reports will show all Other Services together (you cannot filter just training)
- The invoice will include a Boarding or Daycare line — do not remove it, but you can zero it out if needed

What’s Easiest?
- Resident training: Add it as an Other Service to the boarding stay
- One-on-one sessions: Either option works
- Long recurring classes: Special Services can be used, but each appointment must be created individually
