Setting IP or Time restrictions for employees - multilocation.

In some cases, you may want to set access restrictions for your employees, either based on times/days of the week or their internet connection.

Please note:  The super admin ID (the email used when setting up Cloud) cannot be restricted based on IP or Time restrictions.  That ID can log in at any time.

Restrictions must be set for each location.

Click on Manage, Access Restrictions.

Access Times

This section allows you to restrict when an employee is able to log into the website.  There are different settings for employees and managers.

For example, if you want your employees only to login during your business hours, click the box, enter the times and choose what day of the week is applicable.

In this example below, Sunday is not checked so employees will not be able to login on Sundays.

It does not have Manager checked so any employees set to the manager level will be able to login at any time.

IP Whitelist.

An IP is an internet address that's unique to each internet access point. For example, if you have an internet connection at your business, all computers attached to that will have the same IP address. Whitelisting allows you to restrict access to Cloud for only the IP addresses entered here.

For example, you can add the IP address for your business and the IP address for an employee who works remotely.

Users would not be able to access Cloud from any other internet connection.

If you will be using these IP whitelist restrictions, you'll need to obtain the public IP address of the users home networks to add to the whitelist. To do this, have them (when they are on their home computer) go to www.whatismyip.com and it will show them their public IP address. Have them copy it down and send to you so you can add to the list.

Example from Whatismyip.com . The IPv4 is the IP address you'll need to add to the whitelist.
