Require Email Addresses on Client Records
Kennel Connection includes an option to require an email address on all client records. When enabled, users will not be able to save a client profile unless an email address has been entered. This can help improve record completeness and ensure clients can receive emails such as appointment confirmations, invoices, receipts, and other communications.
Enable the Email Requirement
Navigate to:
Setup > System Options > Global
Check:
Require an Email Address on Client Cards
Save your changes.
Once enabled, Kennel Connection will verify that an email address has been entered before allowing a client record to be saved.
Saving a Client Record
When a user attempts to save a client profile without an email address, Kennel Connection will display a warning message.
The client record cannot be saved until an email address has been entered.
⚠️ Important: This setting applies to all client records created or modified after the option has been enabled.
