Help CenterRun Size Capacity Counts allow you to quickly view availability by run size while creating boarding appointments, making it easier to determine whether space is available without having to review the schedule manually. As appointments are booked, the system tracks the remaining capacity for each housing type, such as Giant Breed, Large Cat, or Medium Cat, and displays how many spaces are still available for the selected date range. This helps staff make faster booking decisions, avoid overbooking, and assign appropriate housing during the reservation process.
Important Note: Requires Activation by KC Support
Run Size Capacity Counts must be enabled by Kennel Connection Support before it can be used. If you would like to use this feature, please contact Support to have it activated for your account.
Run size capacity counts will let you assign only a run size to an appointment, and it will take that out of the count of available spaces. You can still assign a run if desired.
This screenshot shows the available sizes and how many of each are available for the date range of the appointment.
Giant breed – There are 4 total spaces and all 4 are available.
Cat Large – There are 12 total spaces and 11 are available.
Cat Medium – There are 6 total spaces and 5 are available.
