Help CenterThe Transfer Pet feature allows you to move a pet from one client account to another while retaining the pet's information and history. This is useful when ownership changes, family members create separate accounts, or a pet was originally added under the wrong owner.
Transferring a Pet
- Open the pet's profile.
- Click the Edit tab.
- Select Transfer Pet to Different Owner.
💡 QUICK TIP: Verify that the new owner already has a client profile in the system before beginning the transfer process. - Search for and select the client account you would like to transfer the pet to.
- Review the selected owner and complete the transfer.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: If Security is enabled, an administrator password will be required before the transfer can be completed.
